General Membership

Become a member of the Live It with Charter® Program

Any Charter customer in good standing with a valid email address and internet access may become a member. Simply click "JOIN TODAY" on the liveitwithcharter.com home page to activate your membership. All members must be a legal U.S. resident, at least 18 years of age, and a residential customer to participate. Charter Communications employees are not eligible for this program. Terms and conditions are subject to change.

No Membership fees

There's no fee to join and no ongoing membership fee.

Membership expiration

Your membership does not expire as long as you remain an active Charter customer and your account is in good standing.

Change my personal settings/email address on Live It With Charter

Sign in at www.liveitwithcharter.com and click on My Details. Once there, you can change your e-mail address. If you still have additional questions, you may contact us at membercare@liveitwithcharter.com.

Moving to a new address

If you were previously a Live It with Charter® member, but moved to a new address within a Charter service area, please email us at membercare@liveitwithcharter.com to make sure your membership transferred. Automatic transfer of your member account is not guaranteed.

Benefits and notices received via e-mail

All of the benefits you receive as part of your membership will be delivered to you via e-mail only. It also allows us to notify you of upcoming sweepstakes, Charter Days and other initiatives. Please be sure that Live It with Charter has your current email address on file.

Cancel my membership

The Live It with Charter® program is a FREE rewards program that offers you exclusive benefits at no cost. If you have questions about your account, concerns or wish to cancel please contact us at membercare@liveitwithcharter.com.

Sharing membership with my family and friends to earn extra points

Memberships are non-transferable and are only valid for use by the person whose name is on the Charter Communications monthly bill.

Levels of membership

There are two membership levels - Preferred and Platinum. The more qualifying Charter products and services you subscribe to, the higher your level. Your membership level will automatically be UPGRADED when you reach the spending thresholds defined for each level.

Here are the two levels:

Preferred
Requirements: Spend between $95 - $124.99/month on recurring Charter products. For every $1 you spend with Charter you earn 10 Live It Points!

Membership Only Perks:

  • Access to the member's only Live It with Charter web site (liveitwithcharter.com).
  • New product bonus - 1000 points per product for adding additional products such as Charter cable, internet, or phone.
  • New service bonus - 500 points per service for adding Digital Video Recording Service (available once), Wireless-Home Networking (available once), Digital Box Rental (one bonus per box), and Showtime/The Movie Channel/HBO/Cinemax/Starz/Encore/Epix Premium Channels (one bonus per channel).
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (AutoPay) bonus -1000 points for signing up for AutoPay for your Charter bill (awarded at 250 points per month for 4 months).
  • Video On Demand bonus - $4.99 bill credit for 6th Video On Demand purchase if all six are purchased within 2 months. Credit for 6th Video on Demand will post to your bill within 6-8 weeks.
  • Subscription Video On Demand bonus - 150 points per month for the duration of each paid subscription video on demand service (SVOD). (For existing SVOD customers, bonus points are not retroactive to the initial start date of the SVOD service).
  • Charter Mall™ cash-back bill credits - Reduce your Charter bill by shopping at the Charter Mall. Accrue credits every time you shop; your credits will post to your Charter bill quarterly. Receive online discounts and reduce your Charter bill!
  • Reviewer Panel Invitations - you are invited to join our Reviewer Panel where you'll earn points for taking surveys related to your favorite networks and shows.

Redeem for Exclusive:

  • Entries into members-only sweepstakes for one of a kind prizes and rewards.
  • Merchandise and items from our network partners during Charter Days.
  • Equipment for your television and other Charter services.
  • Limited time discounts and merchant offers.

Platinum
Requirements: Spend $125/month or more on recurring Charter products. For every $1 you spend with Charter you earn 15 Live It Points!

Membership Only Perks:

  • Access to the member's only Live It with Charter web site (liveitwithcharter.com).
  • New product bonus - 1500 points per product for adding additional products such as Charter cable, internet, or phone.
  • New service bonus - 1000 points per service for adding, Digital Video Recording Service (available once), Wireless Home Networking (available once), Digital Box Rental (one bonus per box), and Showtime/The Movie Channel/HBO/Cinemax/Starz/Encore/Epix Premium Channels (one bonus per channel).

  • Platinum Member Priority Call Routing - Automatically move to the head of the line when calling in for service or product questions. Your call will be answered first!

Member Number and Password

Member Number

Your 16 digit Charter Account Number can be found at the top of your monthly bill. Your 10-digit Member Number can be found on many of the email communications you have received from Live It with Charter®. If you are currently a member, your member number can be found in the My Details section of the Live It with Charter website (www.liveitwithcharter.com). If you need assistance locating your Account Number or Member Number, contact us at membercare@liveitwithcharter.com.

Password

Your password is your personal code that lets you access all member features of the program website. You will be asked to create your password on your first visit. Simply follow the prompts to set it up. Your password must be at least six characters in length. Do not use special characters. Remember, for best security, it is always best to use a "smart password" - a combination of letters and numbers that are not easily guessed by others. And always keep your password confidential.

Live It Points

Earn Live It Points

With Preferred membership you earn 10 Live It points for every $1 you spend on your monthly Charter bill (taxes and fees are excluded). With a Platinum membership, you earn 15 Live It points for every $1 you spend on your monthly Charter bill (taxes and fees are excluded). Earn additional points through special offers and promotions throughout the year.

You can begin earning Live It points once you have activated your membership at www.liveitwithcharter.com. Points will be posted to your Live It account 3-5 days after your Charter monthly bill is finalized. Please note: you will not earn Live It points until you become a member!

You can check your points balance at any time at www.liveitwithcharter.com 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Plus you will receive periodic statements via e-mail to show you how many Live It points you have. Your Member ID number, as well as your point balance can be conveniently found within the Live it with Charter Member Status section of your bill.

Live It Points expiration

Live It points expire two years from the date they were earned and originally posted to your account.

Redeem Live It Points

You can redeem your Live It points for sweepstakes entries and merchandise directly through the Live It with Charter® website. We'll notify you via e-mail when there's a new sweepstakes starting and when the next Charter Days are happening. Visit www.liveitwithcharter.com often to see the latest Sweepstakes and redemption offers.

Charter Days (Previously known as Redemption Days)

Live It with Charter® provides great merchandise from programming partners, ranging from branded clothing and accessories, gift cards, and popular electronics items such as iPads, HDTVs and more – all with free shipping. Periodically we open up our online store so you may purchase items using your Live It points. We announce Charter Days well in advance so you'll be able to plan for this fun shopping event that's become very popular! Charter Days happen one week every month for three days (typically Thursday – Saturday). You will receive a Charter Days email announcing the start date, and you can visit the Rewards Center of our website to see the next start time.

*Note about shipping times: Items purchased during Charter Days redemption periods will arrive within 5-6 weeks.

Charter Mall

Earning Cash Back Bill Credits Through The Charter Mall™

The CharterMall™ is just like a real shopping mall - except all of our retailers are online! Each online store offers different cash-back bill credit amounts when you shop through the CharterMall™. As you shop, you accrue credits that are applied toward your Charter bill on a quarterly basis. For example, if you made a $100 purchase from Merchant A, who offers a 3% cash-back credit, you'd get a $3 cash-back credit applied to your Charter bill at the end of the quarter. So whenever you shop online make Charter Mall™ your first stop.

How Charter Mall Cash-Back Credits Work

When you shop Charter Mall™ merchants, you get a percentage of your purchases as cash-back credits toward your Charter subscriptions. For example, if you made a $100 purchase from Merchant A, who offers a 3% cash-back credit, you'd get a $3 cash-back credit applied to your Charter bill at the end of the quarter. You must be a member in good standing in order to receive your credits. Please read the terms and conditions for further details. Learn more.

How Much Earned Per Purchase And When Cash-Back Credit Appears

Here's an example of how it works: if you made a $100 purchase from Merchant A, who offers a 3% credit, you'd get a $3 cash-back credit applied to your Charter bill after the end of the applicable quarter (quarters end in March, June, September and December), depending on when you made the purchase. Remember that each merchant provides a different percentage, and restrictions do apply. Please read the terms and conditions for further details.

You'll usually see your cash-back subscription credit on the first or second Charter bill after the end of the quarter in which you made the purchase. However, if you made the purchase toward the end of the quarter, you may not see the credit until after the end of the next quarter.

Cash Back Credit Limit

Individual members can earn a maximum of $500 in cash back bill credit during any given quarter. Cash back credit accumulated above $500 will be forfeited.
