Call Details

If you subscribe to the Unlimited Local and Long Distance plan, you can view your monthly outbound long distance call details when you login to your Charter.com My Account.

If you do not have a login for Charter.com Pay Bill options, it is quick and easy to set one up. Go to My Account to get started now. You will need your account number and security code from your statement to create a My Account.

Call Details Menu

Once you are signed in to My Account, and are viewing the My Bill & Services tab, selecting Call Details from the top menu will display your Charter Phone call details. The following explanation details the features.

  1. This allows for the selection of the appropriate monthly statement
  2. Selecting the appropriate value displays that number of rows on the screen. You may need to scroll to see all records.
  3. (not shown) Only displayed if there are multiple numbers on your account. Allows the selection of a unique telephone number on an account with multiple numbers. To see all records for all numbers, select All
  4. Select the appropriate call type that is available to your account. To see all call types, select All
  5. Brings the page back to the default display setting showing all call records for the current statement, sorted by date
  6. (not shown) Only displays when the number of calls exceeds the ‘view per page’ setting, choosing the page number allows the selection of the desired page Prev (previous) displays the prior group of calls Next displays the next group of calls
  7. The blue triangle adjacent to certain column titles, allows the report to be sorted by the unique column: Date, Called From, Called To, Where, Minutes, or Amount
  8. Lists the 2 digit Code and a brief definition
  9. Associated details, such as charges, taxes and surcharges

Historic Data

Existing My Account Customers who have previously created a My Account login will be able to view up to 6 months of historical outbound long distance Call Detail. For example: Customer has had Phone Service for 12 months, but created a My Account login 3 months ago, only 3 months of Call Detail is available.

New My Account Customers will be able to see Outbound Long Distance Call Detail from the first billing cycle after they register and then going forward.

Paper Statements

Call Details Location

Customers who are interested in their call usage detail may access this information online via My Account at www.charter.com/myaccount. Since these calls are included in the calling plan, and not charged separately, we found that many customers were not interested in having this information included on their bill. By not including the call detail on paper statements we were able to make the bill more streamlined and easier to understand, plus we are able to save paper, which is good for the environment.

Receiving Paper Statements

Select the My Bill & Services tab after you have logged into My Account. To view your current Bill Delivery Options and change to your preferred method, select "Bill Delivery Options" or "Go Paperless" on the top menu. You will receive email within a few minutes confirming your preferred statement deliver.

Printed Call Detail

We do not provide call details on your mailed, printed statement. However, when you register at www.charter.com/myaccount, you will be able to view and print the call details. Please note that you will only be able to view call details beginning the same month that you register online at charter.com.

General Information

Viewing Call Details

Call details will not be available online for the months prior to My Account registration. If you would like to request a printed copy of your call details from the previous months before creating a My Account, please chat online or call us at 1-888-438-2427.

To register for a My Account, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click here to navigate to the My Account login and registration screen.
  2. Either click on the 'Register Now' link, or the 'Create Account' button at the right side of the screen.
  3. Enter your 4-digit Security Code and 16-digit Account Number.
  4. Click 'Create Account'.
  5. Enter your Username and Password and re-type your Password in the appropriate fields.
  6. Choose a Security Question and provide the answer in the field below it.
  7. Provide a valid email address.
  8. Click the 'Register' button.

To view your call details, select the My Bill & Services tab. Select Details on the top menu to view Call Detail links.

Additional Call Detail Requests

Requests for additional call detail records other than outbound long distance are not available through My Account or on Paper Statements.

These requests must be made by contacting customer service at 1-888-438-2427. A completed signed notarized Customer Release Form may be required before any call records are released. Please allow 30 to 60 days in order to receive requested call detail information once the notarized request has been received.

The Federal Communications Commission has established rules that govern the use and protection of Customer Proprietary Network Information which includes calling records, call detail, and some other types of account information. Charter is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with these statutory and regulatory requirements.
