Prior to installing the Charter Security Suite®, be sure your computer meets the system requirements.

Download Charter Security Suite®
Step 2 of 7
Login to the My Account Page at charter.com/myaccount and select the Online Tools tab.
Click on the tab labeled Charter Security Suite®.
To activate a subscription key, select the Quick Installation Instructions menu option. A list of steps will display below the grey row.
The "Your active license keys" menu option will open, displaying your 20-character license keys.
On a piece of paper, write down the 20-character Key that you are going to use for this installation, as you may need to refer to it during the installation process. Then click on the row of the license key that you’ve just written down.
After selecting the license key, this window will display. If your machine currently has any antivirus software on it, follow the instructions for your type of machine (Windows or Mac) and uninstall that software before proceeding.
Once all other types of antivirus software have been uninstalled, select the DOWNLOAD FOR WINDOWS button.
The system will display this pop-up window.
Note: Depending on what version of Windows is on the computer, the pop up window may display differently.
Select Run. The system will begin downloading Charter Security Suite® as well as display its progress and estimated time remaining to finish the download.

Select the installation language and click "Install".

Read the License terms, then click the button labeled I accept the license terms.
After accepting the license terms, installation will begin and this window will display.

Charter Security Suite® - Finish

The software license key should be populated in the text box.
If the text box is populated with the key, simply click Next.
If the text box is not populated, please manually enter the 20-character key that you wrote down at the beginning of this process. Be sure to include all dashes and keep all letters in Capital form. Once the license key is displaying in the field, the Next button will become active.

The system will then confirm the software that will be installed. Click Next.
After clicking Next, this window will display the progress of the installation, The installation process may take up to a few minutes to complete.

Charter Security Suite® - Restart
Step 7 of 7
When the Charter Security Suite® has completed its installation, this window will display. Click the button labeled Close to exit the installation process.*
*Note: A system restart is required on computers using the XP Operating system.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed the Charter Security Suite®.
To install Charter Security Suite® on any additional computers, repeat steps 1 through 7. You can install Charter Security Suite® on up to 3 computers at no additional charge.
