If you have a secured network you will need your WiFi name and password to allow other devices access to your wireless network. If you are unsure of your WiFi network name (SSID) and/or network password you can locate them by following the steps below.
Motorola Router
(Not your Router? Start Over)
- Directly connect an Ethernet cable to the computer from the Motorola Router
- Open the web browser on your PC
- In the address bar type http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter

- You will see a screen that looks like this, prompting you to log in to the router

Default Logins:
Username: admin
Password: motorola
Note: Username and Password are case sensitive
- Enter your login information and click Login
Note: If you do not have the login information or if you have changed it from the default settings, you will need to Contact Us
- Click on Wireless on the top menu bar
- In the menu on the left side, click on Primary Network
WEP Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the Network Key 1 field

WPA/WPA2 Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the WPA Pre-Shared Key field
Network Name (SSID)
Your Network Name (SSID) is located in the Network Name (SSID) field

Start Over
Cisco Router
(Not your Router? Start Over)
- Directly connect an Ethernet cable to the computer from the Cisco Router
- Open the web browser on your PC
- In the address bar type http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter

- You will see a screen that looks like this, prompting you to log in to the router

Default Logins:
Username: chtruser
Password: charter
Note: Username and Password are case sensitive
- Enter your login information and click Log In
Note: If you do not have this information or if you have changed it from the default settings, you will need to Contact Us
WiFi Password
Click on WIRELESS along the top, then click on the Wireless Security tab

WEP Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the Key 1 field

WPA/WPA2 Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the Pre-Shared Key field

Network Name (SSID)
Click on Wireless at the top then click on the Basic Settings tab
Your Network Name (SSID) is located in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) field

Start Over
SMC Router
(Not your Router? Start Over)
- Directly connect an Ethernet cable to the computer from the SMC Router
- Open the web browser on your PC
- In the address bar type http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter

- You will see a screen that looks like this, prompting you to log in to the router

Default Logins:
Username: cusadmin
Password: password
Note: Username and Password are case sensitive
- Enter your login information and click LOGIN
Note: If you do not have the login information or if you have changed it from the default settings, you will need to Contact Us
WiFi Password
Click on Wireless on the left side, then Encryption

WEP Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the WEP Key 1 field

WPA/WPA2 Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the Pre-Shared Key field

Network Name (SSID)
Click on Wireless in the menu bar on the left side
Your Network Name (SSID) will be in the Primary SSID field

Start Over
Ambit/Ubee Router
(Not your Router? Start Over)
- Directly connect an Ethernet cable to the computer from the Ubee Router
- Open the web browser on your PC
- In the address bar type http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter

- You will see a screen that looks like this, prompting you to log in to the router

Default Logins:
Username: user
Password: user
Note: Username and Password are case sensitive
- Enter your login information and click OK

WiFi Password
Click on WIRELESS along the top then click Security

WEP Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the Network Key 1 field

WPA/WPA2 Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the WPA Pre-Shared Key field

Network Name (SSID)
Click on WIRELESS along the top then click Basic

Your Network Name (SSID) will be in the Network Name (SSID) field

Start Over
Netgear Router
(Not your Router? Start Over)
- Directly connect an Ethernet cable to the computer from the Netgear Router
- Open the web browser on your PC
- Depending on your model, in the address bar type either:
- http://192.168.1.1
- http://192.168.0.1
- http://www.routerlogin.net
- http://www.routerlogin.com
- Press Enter

- You will see a screen that looks like this, prompting you to log in to the router

Your Default Login will either be:
Username: admin
Password: password
or
Username: chtruser
Password: charter
Note: Username and Password are case sensitive
- Enter your login information and click OK

WiFi Password
Depending on your model:
Click on Wireless under Basic on the left side
or
Click on Wireless Settings under Setup on the left side

WEP Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the Key 1 field

WPA/WPA2 Enabled
Your current wireless password is located in the Passphrase field

Network Name (SSID)
Your Network Name (SSID) will be in the Name (SSID) field
