We offer several options for paying your bill. Once you create a My Account you can:
- Set up Auto Pay
- Make One time payments
- Schedule a future dated payment - Note: Your account must be current - you cannot have a past due balance to use this service.
We accept checking or saving account, debit card or MasterCard, Visa or Discover payments.
You can also make a payment with an online Charter Customer Chat Representative – A $1.99 per transaction agent processing fee will charged to your account with this method.

Mobile Pay Bill - m.charter.com
We now offer paying your bill on your mobile device for another quick way to make a payment directly to Charter.
Using your checking or saving account, debit card or or use your MasterCard, Visa or Discover card you can:

To make a payment simply type charter.com in your mobile browser which will open m.charter.com then; follow the steps below:
- Select the Current Customer tab
- Then click on My Account & Pay Bill
- You will be prompted to login using your My Account information
- After you login and select Pay My Bill, you will be able to view your account overview
- To make a payment, select the Pay Bill from the bottom menu
Your Bank Website
Charter accepts payments you may schedule using your bank website. Simply access your bank web site and add Charter as one of the payees to schedule your next payment. Please be careful to input your account number exactly as it displays on your Charter bill as your bank will pay the amount to the account number you enter. You may also be required to enter the payment address. You can find this address on either your Charter Billing statement or see the list below. Charter does not charge any additional fees for processing a payment from your banks online payment service.
NOTE: You should print your online bank confirmation and retain until you see the payment reflected on your bill. Some bank web sites also offer automatic payment.

Charter Automated Service
You may use our automated payment service by calling 1-888-438-2427 and follow the prompts to make a payment through our automated service. There is not a fee to use our automated payment service. You may make a payment through our automated system using your checking, MasterCard, Visa or Discover account.
Charter Customer Representative Assisted Payment
To make a payment with the assistance of one of customer service agents please call us at 1-888-438-2427. Any of our customer representatives will be happy to assist you with making a payment through your checking, savings, MasterCard, Visa or Discover account. There is a small fee of $1.99 per transaction agent precessing fee when making a payment through one of our customer representatives.

In Person
Charter Stores
You may visit the nearest Charter Store to make a payment. Please see the Charter Store locator quick link to find the office nearest you. You may make a payment at our Charter Stores through your checking, savings, MasterCard, Visa or Discover account. Charter Stores also accept cash or money orders. There is not a processing fee when making a payment at our Charter Stores.
MoneyGram Payment Centers
MoneyGram payment centers accept Charter payment in cash at approximately 35,000 MoneyGram agent locations nationwide. MoneyGram allows you to make a same-day* payment and charges a processing fee for this service. This fee may vary by location. Refer to Quick Links to find the closest MoneyGram agent location to you or call MoneyGram at 1-800-MONEYGRAM.
For many MoneyGram agent locations, including Walmart, you will need to complete a blue ExpressPayment form with the following information:
- Receive Code: 7959
- Account Number: Your Charter account number
- Company Name: Charter Communications
- City/State: Saint Louis, MO
For other/FormFree® locations, such as CVS/pharmacy, please follow these steps:
- Pick up the MoneyGram phone - it will auto dial MoneyGram Customer Service.
- When prompted for the transaction type, select Pay A Bill from the menu list
- Enter your telephone number.
- You will be connected to a live MoneyGram agent who will ask you to confirm your telephone number, name, address, Charter account number, the amount of your payment and the Receive Code of the recipient (Charter Receive Code is 7959).
- You will receive key information from the MoneyGram agent which you will want to write down.
- Take all key information to the cashier at the retail location who will collect the cash and the MoneyGram fee, and complete the payment.
* Payment notification is made to Charter within 10 minutes. Check with Charter for actual payment posting time and availability. Licensed as a Money Transmitter by the Banking Department of the State of New York.
Schnucks Supermarkets - Missouri and Illinois
Only customers in Illinois (IL) and Missouri (MO) are able to make Charter Account payments at their local Schnucks Supermarket. These locations currently accept payments at their Service Center Desk from various vendors and utility companies.
You can make both Cash and Check payments at these locations; however credit card payments are not accepted.
The following are some important items regarding Schnucks Payments.
- Schnucks locations accept Cash and Check payments only.
- Payments can be made at ALL Schnucks locations in IL and MO.
- Schnucks locations are for payments only. These locations cannot perform changes of service and will not issue equipment, exchange equipment or accept equipment for returns.
- Schnucks charges a $2.00 convenience fee at the time of payment. The $2.00 convenience fee will not appear on your statement as the fee is retained by the Schnucks location.
- Payments made at the Schnucks locations are transmitted to Charter the following day. No payments are posted same day.
- Schnucks Payment Agents have access to the following information;
- Account Number
- Phone Number
- Customer Name
- Current Balance
- Statement Balance
Third Party Payment Agents
Additional businesses in your area may accept Charter payments. Each Third party payment center has its own specific rules regarding payments, fees, etc. but all follow these standard policies:
- The locations listed are for payments only. No location listed can make a change to a customer’s services or issue, exchange or accept equipment for return.
- The locations listed are for walk-in payments only; customers cannot mail payments to these locations.

Western Union Payment Centers
All Western Union locations nationwide accept payments for a Charter account using the Western Union Convenience Pay option.
The following are some important items regarding Western Union Payments.
- Western Union locations may charge their own processing fee for payments made. This fee may vary and is paid directly to Western Union. You should check with the specific Western Union location for more information.
- When making a payment you must provide your16-digit Charter account number.
Note: If being asked for a city code or some other type of information, be sure you are attempting to make the payment using Convenience Pay and not Quick Collect.
- These locations are for payments only; equipment cannot be picked up, returned or exchanged through Western Union. Payments should never be mailed to these locations.
- To find a Western Union location, go to http://www.westernunion.com and click on Agent Locator.
- You cannot make direct payments online through the Western Union website. You should log in to My Account at Charter.com to make online payments.

By Mail
Charter Mailing Address
You may mail your payment to Charter. Please note that the mailing locations differ depending on your Charter service address. Whenever possible please mail your payment in the envelope with the remittance portion of your statement. You can print a copy of your statement through your My Account. If this is not possible please note your 16 digit account number on your check or money order. Please do not mail cash. Choose your mailing address based upon the state your service address resides in. Some states have different mailing addresses depending on the city, so also verify correct selection by both State and City from the table below.
