Cost/Fees
Accessing and browsing the On Demand menu is included at no additional charge with your Charter TV subscription. Charter On Demand includes thousands of movies and shows – many are FREE. New release movies, adult programs, special events and other shows may carry fees, please check your on screen guide before ordering. Any programs that carry a fee will have a confirmation screen before they begin confirming your order. Monthly Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) services will display the monthly fee and require your confirmation before being added to your account.
Note: Charter On Demand services are not available in all areas.
If you rent a Charter On Demand program for a fee, the purchases will be added to your monthly Charter bill, and the program title will be listed for your reference.
Billing
On Demand charges will appear in your Online My Account under My Bill tab, Recent Activity- On Demand recent activity within 24 hours.
On Demand charges will appear on your billing statement within 2 billing cycles and will appear under the Header of "One Time Charges" and will display the title, the date ordered and the fee.
Please note: Some adult content titles will be labeled as "Private Title" but will still have the date ordered and associated charges under the One Time Charges section of your bill.

- Get updated on the current Top 10 Movies, Premium shows, Music Videos and free programs On Demand.

- Each movie or program in the Top 10 lists will contain up to 4 recommendations on what others viewers who watched that title are also watching.

- Sort with any column header under any tab to easily explore and quickly find areas of interest.
Premium Services
Charter On Demand offers you the convenience of watching your premium channel movies anytime you want at no additional charge. Many premium channels also offer hit series and other programs On Demand if you missed the original premiere or you want to catch up on past episodes.

Functionality
Accessing On Demand
You may simply go to Channel 1, where you will be directed to the Charter On Demand main menu. You may also access Charter On Demand through the main menu by pressing the On Demand button.
Remote Controls
Use the arrow keys or the play, pause, rewind, and fast-forward buttons, depending on your remote.
To get to the On Demand screen, press the "Last" or "C" button, depending on your remote, to go to the previous screen.

Parental Controls
Any Parental Controls you have set will also work for On Demand.

Restarting & Stopping Program
If you stop your show and want to come back to it later, it will automatically be saved in the My Rentals or Saved Programs folder on the main On Demand menu. You can restart or resume your movie anytime within 24 hours from the original purchase at no additional charge.
Troubleshooting
On Demand Unavailable
Due to traffic on the On Demand platform, Charter On Demand may be unavailable for a short period of time. Please try accessing Charter On Demand again in a few minutes.

Scrambled Picture/Digital Tiling
Stop the VOD movie/program and try restarting it from the beginning
Check behind ALL TV and cable equipment (cable box, TV, VCR, DVD, stereo receivers, etc) and the coax cable at the wall outlet for any loose or damaged connectors

Can't Access FREE On Demand Content of Some Networks
You will only have access to free VOD content that you currently subscribe to with your Charter TV service. For instance if you are trying to access content on a premium channel, such as: HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, The Movie Channel, Starz, Encore or Epix, you must subscribe to these with your TV service to have them available in Video On Demand.
If you are having trouble viewing the free VOD content for channels you subscribe to try the following:
- Send a refresh signal to your receiver. Click here for instructions
- If you are still unable to access Video On Demand try to power cycle your digital receiver.

Can't Fast Forward NBC or ABC On Demand Content
VOD content located under the NBC or ABC On Demand does not have the ability to fast forward through the content. All other content under VOD has the ability to fast forward through the program.
