Windows/MAC connection Settings

• Server Assigned IP (DHCP)
• Server Assigned Name Server Addresses
• No specific Host Name is required

Email Settings

Mobile Devices
Use these settings when setting up your Email on a mobile device (Including Laptop Computers)

• Username: username@charter.net (Make sure you enter @charter.net after your username or you will be unable to login)
• Password: The password you use to login to your email account
• SSL: This setting should be on for both SMTP and IMAP
• Protocol: IMAP
• Incoming Email Server: mobile.charter.net
• Port: 993
• Outgoing Email Server: mobile.charter.net
• Port: 587

If applicable: a login will be required when sending and receiving mail.

Desktop Computers
These settings should be applied to your Desktop Computers.

• Username: username@charter.net (Make sure you enter @charter.net after your username or you will be unable to login)
• Password: The password you use to login to your Email account
• Server Type: IMAP
• Incoming Mail server: IMAP.charter.net
• Port: 143
• Outgoing Mail Server: SMTP.charter.net
• Port: 25

• Server: webpages.charter.net
• Customer Web Space: http://webpages.charter.net/username
