Effective September 6, Charter will no longer sell TiVo Premiere from Charter service to customers. We are currently evaluating the integration of TiVo software and other software into our next-generation video delivery platform. Customers that own Retail TiVo equipment are not impacted with this change. Click here for information about Charter TV packages.
A Season Pass® recording keeps track of a show that is part of a series. Set one up, and the TiVo Premiere service from Charter will make sure to record the show every week–even if the day or time changes. You can even tell your TiVo Premiere how many episodes to keep and if it should record reruns.
Scheduling a Season Pass recording
Once you find a show to record, you can easily schedule a Season Pass.
- After selecting a show to record, select "Get a Season Pass" on the information screen.

- If you like, select "Options" to customize your Season Pass recording. Use the arrow keys on your remote to adjust each option as needed. Want to keep all episodes in the series? Select "All episodes" from the "Keep at Most" choices. Want to skip re-runs? Set "New only" as the "Record" option (TiVo Premiere with HD menus) or set "First Run Only" as the "Show Type" (all other TiVo boxes).

Your Season Pass is scheduled!
Note: If you have Groups turned on in your "My Shows" list, a show's title may appear in more than one folder, even though there is only one recording of the show. For example, you might have an auto-recording WishList search for an actor who also appears in a series, and you have a Season Pass for that series. Each episode of the series will appear in two folders—one for the WishList search and one for the Season Pass recording. If you delete the show in one folder, the title also disappears from the other.
Watching and recording more than one show at a time
With all the great stuff out there to record with your Season Passes recordings, it's a good thing the TiVo box is a fabulous multitasker! With all TiVo boxes, you can always watch a show from your "My Shows" list while recording another show at the same time. And with dual-tuner TiVo boxes, you can:
- Record two shows at once, while watching a third show from your "My Shows" list
- Record one show while watching live TV

Online Season Pass Manager
The online Season Pass manager lets you reorder your list of Season Pass requests, delete individual Season Pass requests, or transfer Season Pass requests between boxes (handy if you get a new TiVo box and want to copy your Season Pass requests from your old box) from any computer with an Internet connection.

Reordering or deleting Season Pass requests
You can reorder or delete Season Pass requests without turning on your TV.
- Log in to tivo.com.
- Click on the "Find TV Shows" tab, and then click on "Season Pass Manager" in the left-hand menu.
- Select a TiVo box from the drop down list in the first column. A list of your Season Pass requests will appear.
Note: Auto-recording WishList searches and repeating manual recordings do not appear in the online Season Pass Manager.

- To reorder the list, click on a Season Pass title, and drag and drop it to a new location in the list.

- To delete an item(s), mark its checkbox and click "Delete."
Note: Changes made to the online Season Pass manager may not be immediately reflected on your TiVo box.

Copying Season Pass requests between TiVo boxes
Want to copy Season Pass requests from one TiVo box to another? (This could be a big time saver if you get a new TiVo box and want to copy all of your Season Pass requests from your old box to your new one) Here’s how:
- Log in to tivo.com.
- Click on the "Find TV Shows" tab, and then click on "Season Pass Manager" in the left-hand menu.
- Select a TiVo box from the drop down list in the first column, and select a different TiVo box from the drop down list in the second column.

- Mark the checkboxes of the Season Pass requests (in either column) that you want to transfer.
- Click "Copy to the other box."
Note: When copying Season Pass requests between boxes that do not use the same channel lineup, the Season Pass show must be scheduled to air within the next 14 days.
