Blackberry WiFi & Email Connection

Follow the Steps below to connect your Blackberry mobile device to your Charter WiFi and your Charter.net Email account

Wireless Connection

To connect your Blackberry 7 mobile device to your Charter WiFi:

1. On the home screen select the Manage Connections icon

1. Select Wi-Fi Network
2. Select the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to

Charter Email

To add a Charter.net Email account to your Blackberry 7 mobile device:

• Connect your BlackBerry to your computer with a USB cord and log in to your Blackberry Internet Service web site

• Select Setup New Account and enter your Charter.net Email credentials (Email address and password)

• Once successful you should see an information message similar to this:

• Select Edit from the options on the right of your Valid Email Account

• Select Advanced Settings tab

• Make sure the following settings are listed (If not - edit them and save):

• Email server: mobile.charter.net
• Port: 993
• SSL: Verify that the SSL box is checked

Note: The SMTP settings are generated for you by Blackberry's servers. Charter engineers have worked with Blackberry to ensure the proper settings are presented.
