Sony Blu-Ray Player WiFi Connection

Follow the Steps below to connect your Sony Blu-Ray player to your Charter WiFi

  1. Press Home and select setup (Setup), thennetwork setting (Network Settings), then Internet Settings and press Enter

  • Press Enter to start
  • Connection Method screen:
  • Select Wireless and press Enter
  1. Select Access point scan and press Enter

  1. The player will detect nearby wireless networks and display the SSID (Network Name) and security settings. Select your network name and press Enter

  1. Select the type of security you use and press Enter.

Note: The correct security should automatically be selected. You should not normally need to change the security.

If your network does not use security (None) skip to Step 8

  1. Press Enter to input your WEP or WPA key (WiFi password)

  1. Input your WEP or WPA key. When you are done select Finish and press Enter

  1. You will be returned to the previous screen. Review you entry and press to continue
  2. Select Auto Acquisition and press Enter

  1. Select Auto on the DNS Setting Method screen and press Enter

  1. Select Do not use on the Proxy Server screen and press Enter

  1. The Networks Connection Diagnostics screen displays. Select Perform and press Enter

  1. Press Enter when Network connections are correct appears

select Finish

  1. Press Enter when Settings are complete appears
    • WiFi setup is finished
