Follow the Steps below to connect your Sony Blu-Ray player to your Charter WiFi
- Press Home and select
(Setup), then
(Network Settings), then Internet Settings and press Enter
- Start Setting screen:
- Press Enter to start
- Connection Method screen:
- Select Wireless and press Enter
- Select Access point scan and press Enter
- The player will detect nearby wireless networks and display the SSID (Network Name) and security settings. Select your network name and press Enter
- Select the type of security you use and press Enter.
Note: The correct security should automatically be selected. You should not normally need to change the security.
If your network does not use security (None) skip to Step 8
- Press Enter to input your WEP or WPA key (WiFi password)
- Input your WEP or WPA key. When you are done select Finish and press Enter
- You will be returned to the previous screen. Review you entry and press
to continue
- Select Auto Acquisition and press Enter
- Select Auto on the DNS Setting Method screen and press Enter
- Select Do not use on the Proxy Server screen and press Enter
- The Networks Connection Diagnostics screen displays. Select Perform and press Enter
- Press Enter when Network connections are correct appears
- Press Enter when Settings are complete appears
