Follow the Steps below to connect your Blackberry Playbook to your Charter WiFi and your Charter.net Email account
Wireless Connection
- Tap the Settings icon
in the upper right

- Tap Wi-Fi

- If Wi-Fi Connectivity is turned off, tap to turn on. Select your Network Name

- If your wireless network is secure you will be prompted to enter your WiFi password. If your wireless network is not secure, you will automatically connect. Forgot WiFi password?

- Enter your WiFi password and tap Connect

- You should now be connected

Charter Email
- Tap the Settings icon
in the upper right

- Tap Accounts then Email, Calendar and Contacts

- Fill in your Email account information and tap Continue

If your account settings are found automatically:
- Add a Description for the account
- Specify your desired synchronization options
- Tap Save
If your account settings are NOT found automatically:
- Return to the Email, Calendar and Contacts screen and tap Advanced Setup

- Use the following mobile settings for your account settings
Note: These settings MUST be used in order to send and receive Email on your mobile device using your Charter.net Email address. Using settings other than these will result in Emails not syncing properly and/or failure to send and receive Email.
- Account Type: IMAP
- Email Address: Your full Charter.net Email address
- Username: Your full Charter.net Email address
- Password: The password you use to login to your Email account
- SSL: This setting must be On for both SMTP and IMAP
- Incoming Email Server (IMAP server): mobile.charter.net
- Port: 993
- Outgoing Email Server (SMTP server): mobile.charter.net
- Port: 587
- When finished entering your account information tap Continue
- Specify your desired synchronization options
- Tap Save
